Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative will support the Account
Management team by managing the technical and administrative tasks associated
with sales opportunities. This role is critical to the success of our sales
operations and requires a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual who can
communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams. The ideal
candidate will have a strong foundation in IT products and services, experience
building quotes and proposals, attention to detail, and a passion for
organization and follow-through.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve
as the internal sales liaison between Account Managers, vendors,
distribution partners, and operations teams.
- Build
and maintain an accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) based on client needs
and sales meetings conducted by Account Managers.
- Register
deals with applicable vendors to ensure the best pricing and partner
benefits.
- Create
and manage sales opportunities in our CRM and PSA platform (Autotask and
Keap).
- Collaborate
with Vendors and Internal Tech Team to validate BOM accuracy and
feasibility, when necessary.
- Request
and evaluate distributor quotes to confirm correct product selection,
quantities, and pricing.
- Build
and refine customer-ready quotes using QuoteWerks.
- Conduct
final quote reviews with Account Managers; make necessary adjustments.
- Send
finalized quotes to Account Managers for client delivery and
communication.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain
vendor relationships to stay up to date on product offerings, promotions,
and certifications.
- Attend
regular vendor and product training sessions to maintain a strong working
knowledge of IT solutions (hardware, software, cloud, cybersecurity,
etc.).
- Track
and manage expiring quotes or deal registrations to ensure timely
follow-up and closure.
- Collaborate
with procurement and finance to transition approved quotes into orders.
- Monitor
sales pipeline status, follow up on outstanding proposals, and support
Account Managers in driving opportunities forward.
- Assist
with forecasting and reporting activities as requested.
- Provide
support for special projects related to sales campaigns, product launches,
and vendor programs.
Qualifications:
- 2+
years in an Inside Sales, Sales Support, or Sales Operations role within
the IT industry.
- Strong
knowledge of IT products (networking, servers, cloud services,
cybersecurity, end-user hardware/software).
- Experience
with PSA and quoting tools (Autotask, Keap and QuoteWerks strongly
preferred).
- Familiarity
with distribution platforms (e.g., Ingram Micro, TD Synnex, D&H).
- Excellent
organizational and project management skills.
- Strong
verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability
to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated,
detail-oriented, and a team player.
Preferred Certifications/Skills:
- Supplier
Sales Certifications (HPE, Ruckus, Extreme, etc.)
- Familiarity
with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience
supporting managed services or MSP sales environments
- 2-year
College/Trade School Degree or greater preferred.

Compensation
- $50,000-$65,000 Base Salary
- Commission and Bonus opportunities
